Fae Morgana Barbone has been missing since March 7. She was last seen on March 9 in Maine, where she had an "interaction" with a police officer, Williamstown police said. There have been unconfirmed sightings of her in North Adams.

But when her car was found abandoned in a remote area on Berlin Road in Williamstown on Tuesday, March 19, that sparked a new intense round of searches. Police dogs were called in to search, but they found no traces of the woman.

Police have resumed searches in the area.

Barbone is described as 6 foot 2 inches, weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater and black leggings, according to a State Police missing person release.

Searchers ask anyone who sees Barbone or has any information on her whereabouts to contact Williamstown police at 413-458-5733.
